Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Location: California Employment Type: Full-Time Contract Setting: Rehab / Skilled Nursing / Outpatient Therapy Shift: 08:00 AM 04:30 PM (Day Shift) Contract Duration: 06/29/2026 - 09/28/2026 Contract Length: 14 Weeks Pay Rate: $36.00 $42.00/hr Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans designed to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional independence. This role requires strong hands‑on clinical skills, patient communication, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. Key Responsibilities Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans Support patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility training Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with facility standards Monitor patient responses and report changes to supervising PT Provide education to patients and caregivers on exercises and recovery Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment Collaborate with physical therapists and healthcare team members Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and care protocols Requirements Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of practice Graduation from an accredited PTA program CPR/BLS certification (if required by facility standards) Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work daytime shift (08:00 AM 04:30 PM) Prior rehab or outpatient experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
