Pay Range: $48,000 - $55,000 FT - Includes Weekends

Your Role: Part of a shared service center that operates for multi branches, the Customs Entry Specialist processes the Customs Entry in a timely manner and with accuracy.

What Are You Going To Do?

• Receives import files to clear through Customs
• Ensure import clearance files are compliant with US Customs regulations
• Resolve and Communicate clearance issues with internal team members and with customers
• Prioritize shipments based on ETA or other factors
• Process customs bonds as needed
• Process steel licenses as needed
• Communicate entry release
• Ensure each file is invoiced correctly
• Help identify areas that need improvement
• Assist with new customer implementation
• Stays up to date with current regulations with US Customs

What Are We Looking For?

Education and Experience: 2-5 years of processing customs entries CHB License is a plus

Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications. Extensive excel experience with Adobe PDF knowledge is a plus Fluent in English, both written and oral

Characteristics: Ability to learn all aspects of the team's work, and to provide cover and assistance on a regular basis. Organizational and time management skills. Self-starter, sense of urgency, communication. Customer focused.
