Technician, Laboratory - Laboratory - Mullica Hill

MAJOR FUNCTION:Performs testing and quality control procedures, operates instrumentation, prepares reagents and reports results according to established policies and procedures. Performs all testing under the supervision of a Laboratory Department Supervisor, Laboratory Manager or Lead Technologist. Communicates with nursing/physicians regarding patient results and assist in various projects as needed.QUALIFICATIONS:Education & Experience:Associate of Science in laboratory science preferred.High school diploma or equivalent with 50-week military training as Medical Lab Specialist OR graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory or Clinical Laboratory training program.1 to 3 years clinical laboratory experience preferred.Certification/Licensure:ASCP or equivalent, certified, or eligible, required.Certification must be achieved within 12 months after hire date.Knowledge & Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.BENEFITS INFORMATION:Click Here to Review Our Great Benefits Offerings?>At Inspira Health, you’ll join with the area’s most dedicated and distinguished team to bring quality and compassionate care to our communities.
