Executive Recruiter

We are seeking an experienced Executive Recruiter to drive end-to-end recruitment for senior leadership positions. This role is responsible for developing executive search strategies, partnering with senior business leaders, identifying top-tier leadership talent, and delivering exceptional candidate experiences from sourcing through offer acceptance.

The ideal candidate is a strategic talent acquisition professional with expertise in executive search, talent mapping, stakeholder management, and market intelligence. This position plays a critical role in securing high-impact leadership talent while reducing reliance on external search firms.

Location: Fountain Valley, CA
Pay Rate: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Executive Search Strategy & Delivery

• Develop and execute comprehensive search strategies for Director- and Vice President-level positions.
• Define candidate profiles, sourcing approaches, timelines, and search milestones in partnership with hiring leaders.

Market Intelligence & Talent Mapping

• Conduct competitor research and leadership talent mapping.
• Provide insights on talent availability, diversity pipelines, compensation trends, and industry best practices.
• Utilize market data to influence recruiting strategies and hiring decisions.

Stakeholder & Leadership Partnership

• Build trusted relationships with senior executives and business leaders.
• Lead intake meetings, establish expectations, and provide regular search updates.
• Guide interview design, candidate evaluation processes, and hiring decisions.

Sourcing & Pipeline Development

• Identify and engage passive executive talent through networking, referrals, industry events, and recruiting platforms.
• Build and maintain proactive leadership talent pipelines to support future business needs.

Candidate Assessment & Selection

• Evaluate executive candidates against role requirements and leadership competencies.
• Coordinate structured interviews, facilitate debrief discussions, and provide candidate recommendations.

Offer Management & Candidate Experience

• Develop offer strategies and manage negotiations for senior-level hires.
• Ensure a seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment and pre-boarding process.

Recruiting Operations & Reporting

• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data within applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Generate recruiting metrics, search dashboards, and status reports for leadership review.
• Ensure compliance with established HR policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.

Cost Management & Process Improvement

• Reduce agency spend by delivering high-quality in-house executive search capabilities.
• Track cost savings and cost avoidance against external search firm benchmarks.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance recruiting effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance.

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with demonstrated success recruiting senior-level or executive talent.
• Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates and successfully close complex offers.
• Strong understanding of automotive, technology, or related industries.
• Experience conducting market research, competitive intelligence, and talent mapping.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting technologies, and reporting tools.
• Strong organizational skills with a commitment to data accuracy and process compliance.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Executive search certification, advanced sourcing training, or related professional development.
• Experience partnering with C-suite executives, Vice Presidents, and senior business leaders.
