School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC / CFY) – Laconia, NH

Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensure & Credentials: Active New Hampshire SLP state license (or in process) and NH Department of Education (NH DOE) Speech-Language Specialist endorsement. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) with pediatric practicum considered.

• Assessment & Diagnostic Expertise: Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized pediatric speech/language batteries (e.g., CELF-5, CASL-2, PLS-5, GFTA-3, OWLS-II).

• Clinical Specializations: Strong foundation in articulation/phonological disorders, expressive/receptive language delays, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), pragmatics/social communication, and AAC implementation (low-tech core boards to high-tech SGDs with apps like TouchChat, Proloquo2Go, or LAMP).

• Special Education & Compliance: In-depth knowledge of IDEA, NH Special Education rules, multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), compliant IEP goal writing, and progress monitoring.

Position Overview

• Location: Laconia, NH

• Schedule: Full-Time (Monday – Friday, typical school hours)

• Status: Contract / Full School Year (2026–2027)

• Setting: In-Person district coverage

Caseload & Clinical Setting

• General school-aged caseload (Pre-K through Middle/High School opportunities available).

• Collaborative, multi-disciplinary school environment working alongside special educators, OTs, PTs, and school psychologists.

Core Responsibilities

• Deliver direct therapy services via individual, small group, and push-in/pull-out models based on IEP mandates.

• Complete comprehensive initial evaluations, 3-year re-evaluations, and functional communication assessments.

• Develop, implement, and track individualized, curriculum-relevant IEP goals and objectives.

• Program, model, and integrate AAC systems within the classroom and natural school environments.

• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary IEP team meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and staff consultations.

• Maintain timely session logging, Medicaid documentation, and quarterly progress reports.
