Snow Supervisor (On Call Winter Work)

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is hiring On-Call Snow Supervisors to help lead snow and ice removal operations during periods of inclement winter weather. This role is seasonal and only active when snow or ice events occur.

You'll oversee snowplow operators and laborers, make sure roads stay safe, and may also operate equipment when needed. Travel may be required for out-of-town work paid travel, hotel, and per diem are provided.

What You'll Do:

• Supervise and direct snowplow crews during snow and ice events
• Monitor weather conditions and help plan response efforts
• Assign routes and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
• Operate snowplow trucks or other equipment when needed
• Oversee salt/brine applications and equipment inspections
• Maintain basic reports and ensure safety compliance

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record no serious violations or multiple accidents within the past 5 years.
• Valid CDL Class A or B (preferred)
• Pass a DOT drug screen, and MVR review.
• Be willing to travel to snow locations and stay for the duration of the event (hotel, travel time, and per diem paid by DCS).
• 2+ years of snow removal experience; leadership experience a plus.
• Must attend an 8-hour in-person snow training before the season starts.
• Work is needed, depending on winter weather events determined by VDOT.

Additional Information:

• $35+/hour pay rate
