OR RN – Operating Room Registered Nurse

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Four 10-hour shifts per week, Tuesday through Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a hospital operating room environment
• Perform both scrub and circulating roles as needed during surgical procedures
• Support orthopedic and other surgical cases in accordance with facility protocols and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Must be physically able to safely function at high altitude (approximately 8,000 feet elevation)
• No time-off requests will be considered during this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing preferred
• Experience at a Joint Commission accredited facility with a formal Operating Room Training Program
• Orthopedic OR nursing experience and proficiency in both scrub and circulating roles
• Successful completion of Periop 101 and experience with EPIC electronic health records
