This position will assist the anesthesia providers and ASC team in the acquisition, preparation, and application of equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia and blocks. Provides support by preparing, setting up, calibrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia, assisting with transporting, positioning, resuscitative efforts of patients, cleaning/disinfection/sterilization of work area/equipment, and supply/inventory management.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED from an accredited program
• BLS through American Heart Association
• 2+ years working as an anesthesia technician (AT)
• Basic computer knowledge
• Proven ability to think critically; solid verbal communication skills; detail oriented and accurate
• Proven ability to multi-ask and manage time well. Performs function independently
• Proven excellent customer service skills. Proficient in the operation and decontamination of anesthesia equipment
• The Per Diem Anesthesia Tech role requires rotation to multiple Ambulatory Surgery Center locations based on staffing and operational needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of an anesthesia technician training program approved by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT)
• Certified Anesthesia Technician
• 2+ years working as an anesthesia technician
• Microsoft Word

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
