Assistant Coach Men's Lacrosse

Job Summary The University of Mary Washington, an NCAA Division III institution located in historic and vibrant Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking an assistant coach for Men's Lacrosse. Graduate tuition remission may be possible after one year of employment. Coaching duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the head coach with practice and game preparation and coaching, recruiting, academics, fundraising, and the off‑season program. Responsibilities Assist the head coach with practice and game preparation. Coaching duties across all game and practice sessions. Recruitment of student‑athletes and support for their academic success. Contribute to fundraising efforts and develop the off‑season development program. Qualifications Interest in collegiate lacrosse coaching. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and student‑athletes. Experience as a Division III Men's Lacrosse coach, assistant coach, or student‑athlete. Experience developing and implementing a training regimen for lacrosse players. 2‑4 years experience as a Men's Lacrosse Coach. Experience coaching at the collegiate level. Experience with fundraising. Experience as a student athlete in lacrosse. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
