Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN – Operating Room to join our dynamic healthcare team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will provide specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment. Key Responsibilities Assess patient condition pre- and post-surgery to ensure optimal outcomes. Prepare operating rooms with sterile equipment and supplies for surgical procedures. Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to any changes or complications. Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with hospital protocols. Educate patients and families on perioperative procedures and postoperative care. Skills Needed Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and OR equipment. Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
