Job DescriptionBlack Rock Truck Group is Hiring Experienced Diesel MechanicsUp to $40/Hour in Yonkers, NYDiesel Mechanic Benefits:$30 - $40 per hour (based on experience)Paid overtime availableDay shift scheduleMonday through FridayNo weekendsMonthly performance incentivesUniforms provided$100 annual boot allowancePaid time off401(k) with company benefitsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance and short/long-term disability coverageCareer advancement opportunitiesWhat You'll Be Doing:As a diesel mechanic with Black Rock Truck Group, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy-duty trucks while ensuring quality repairs and maximum uptime.Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities Include:Performing advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairsIdentifying mechanical and electrical issues, including CAN wiring problemsRepairing diesel engines, transmissions, and related systemsUsing diagnostic tools to minimize downtimeCompleting repairs safely and efficiently while meeting OEM standardsDiesel Mechanic Requirements:At least 5 years of verifiable diesel mechanic experience, preferredMedium and heavy-duty truck repair experienceKnowledge of Freightliner, Detroit, and Cummins systemsProficiency in diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skillsPosition requires candidates to provide a standard set of hand tools for maintenance/repair tasksAbout Black Rock Truck GroupBlack Rock Truck Group is a veteran-owned company and a leading commercial vehicle dealer serving Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, and New Jersey.
