Quality Assurance Quality Control Inspector

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Inspector to join our team and ensure the highest standards of quality across our commercial construction projects. As a key member of the field operations team, you will be responsible for inspecting work, verifying compliance with project specifications, and supporting documentation for quality assurance and control. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, codes, and company standards Review and verify materials, workmanship, and installation methods across multiple trades Monitor subcontractor performance and adherence to quality requirements Assist in developing and implementing project-specific QA/QC plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and checklists Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions Support project closeout by compiling turnover packages and quality documentation Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues Ensure compliance with safety protocols and participate in HSE audits as needed Qualifications 3+ years of QA/QC experience in commercial construction or related field Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes Familiarity with CSI divisions and trade-specific scopes (e.g., concrete, steel, finishes, MEP) Proficient in reading blueprints, specifications, and technical documents Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and reporting abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QA/QC software platforms Certifications such as ICC, ACI, or OSHA 30 are a plus Why Join Us Work on high-profile commercial projects Be part of a collaborative and safety-first culture Competitive compensation and benefits Opportunities for growth and professional development Physical Requirements Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling materials Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold Capable of standing and walking for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Equal Employment Opportunity BE&K Building Group is an equal opportunity employer.
