Exciting Opportunity: Pharmacy Technician – Evening Shift | Everett, WA
A-Line Staffing is actively hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, onsite opportunity in Everett, WA . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented environment and is passionate about patient safety and pharmacy operations.
Job Highlights:
- Location: Everett, WA
- Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Friday: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- Occasional overtime (1–4 hours/week)
- Pay: $26.00 per hour (OT eligible)
- Setting: Onsite, pharmacy distribution facility
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Manually fill prescription vials with prescribed tablets and capsules
- Read computer-generated labels and verify medication size and strength
- Count or calculate quantities using basic math skills
- Replenish medication in automated dispensing cells from bulk stock
- Use a handheld scanner to log barcodes, expiration dates, and lot numbers
- Conduct quality assurance checks to prevent cross-contamination and identify expired or damaged products
- Prepare and pack cold chain and specialty prescriptions following strict handling protocols
- Assist with packing and shipping of prescription orders
- Perform weekly cycle counts and inventory audits as assigned
- Support research into inventory discrepancies and participate in process improvements
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy SOPs for patient privacy and safety
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Washington State Pharmacy Technician License (active and in good standing)
- National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required for assignments longer than 6 months or for potential permanent conversion
- Preferred:
- Previous pharmacy or warehouse experience
