The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals receiving hospice services. This role involves working nights and weekends to provide support during critical moments of care. Key Responsibilities Respond to emergency calls for hospice patients during on-call shifts. Provide direct nursing care and clinical assessments, including symptom management, pain relief, and end-of-life care. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement personalized care plans. Educate patients and families on comfort measures, medications, and end-of-life care procedures. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all interactions and care provided. Adhere to all hospice care policies, regulations, and industry standards. Qualifications Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Utah. Previous experience in hospice or palliative care is preferred. Strong clinical skills, including experience in managing symptoms such as pain, nausea, and anxiety. Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate, empathetic care. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, on-call environment. Must have reliable transportation and be available for on-call shifts, including nights and weekends.
