Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular Registered Nurse in Concord, North Carolina. This role involves providing critical care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including STEMI, cardiogenic shock, and post-surgical cases such as CABG and valve surgeries. Qualified candidates must bring their nursing license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Concord, North Carolina
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience, including resource team requirements
  • Experience managing vasoactive medications, surgical drains, chest tubes, ventilators, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), invasive lines (arterial lines, PA catheters), transvenous pacemakers, and invasive devices such as intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and Impella (preferred)
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the region and scope of practice
• Additional Information:
  • The unit features 14 private rooms, including two negative pressure rooms
  • Patient ratio of 1:2 RN to patient
  • Charge nurse may or may not have patient assignment
  • Support within the department includes a 24/7 intensivist and resource team
  • Electronic Medical Records system: Epic
  • Technology includes Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, Phillips monitors
