Senior Accountant

Addison Group is partnering with a rapidly growing, publicly traded global leader to hire a Senior Accountant.

This position will play a key role in both GAAP and non-GAAP revenue reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity across financial processes.

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 1–2 days in office)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles
• Review and record transactions in accordance with GAAP and ASC 606
• Perform revenue reconciliations across all reporting periods
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate contract review and billing
• Prepare journal entries and revenue-related schedules
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements
• Support 10-Q and 10-K reporting, including footnotes and disclosures
• Identify and drive process improvements and automation initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA (or progress toward certification) preferred
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
