Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse involve :
Providing management & supervision of private duty nurses & aides
Assisting with coordination of clinical services to ensure appropriate service delivery under the direction of Director of Nursing
Supervising care of patients from admission to discharge for assigned caseload
Monthly home visits & documentation of supervisory note
Developing a Plan of Treatment for assigned patients & update every 60 days
Attendance at scheduled meetings to collaborate with other health care professionals to plan & implement appropriate therapeutic regime
Performing skill checks for assigned clinical staff to ensure competency
Reviewing of clinical documentation to assure adequacy & quality of care
Reinforcement training of caregivers as required

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN or equivalent Preferred).
Active Registered Nursing license in Maryland / Virginia
Current CPR certification
PEDIATRIC experience: 1 year (minimum) which includes pediatric direct patient care within the last 3 years [preferred]
Candidate must possess strong clinical skills to manage the care of technologically dependent patients with trachs / feeding tubes / ventilators
