Pay: up to $34.00/HR based on experience
Duties:
- Operate machine tools, including drill presses, weld positioners, and other shop equipment as required.
- Fabricate, assemble, and weld steel frameworks according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate measurements and layouts on parts.
- Verify workpiece conformance to specifications using measuring tools (e.g., square, ruler, tape measure, caliper).
- Perform basic math operations to complete layouts and calculations for fabrication.
- Ensure high-quality welding, particularly in MIG and aluminum welding techniques.
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and welding.
- Proficiency in MIG welding and aluminum welding techniques.
- Strong ability to read and measure with accuracy.
- Familiarity with machine tools and equipment used in a fabrication shop.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
