About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Commercial Operations and Strategy to play a pivotal role in driving its global commercial growth and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive global commercial strategies, overseeing the alignment of commercial objectives with operational capabilities, and leading the execution of plans to enhance market positioning and revenue generation. This leadership position demands a visionary, results-driven, and collaborative professional with a strong background in strategic planning, operational efficiency, market analysis, and team management. The VP will work closely with business unit GMs and cross-functional teams to ensure the company's commercial agenda is data-driven and effectively meets business goals. Candidates for the VP role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 15 years' experience in a global commercial operations, strategy, or related role. A proven track record of at least 5 years in a leadership position, particularly in pharmaceutical, medical device, or life sciences markets, is highly desired. The role requires a leader with excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, as well as proficiency in financial management and a strong technical skill set including CRM systems, ERP platforms, and data analytics tools. The ability to be adaptable, innovative, and customer-focused, with a continuous improvement and 80/20 mindset, is essential for this demanding and rewarding position.
