The RN is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents, supervising nursing staff, coordinating care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality long-term and rehabilitative care.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plansAdminister medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribedMonitor residents’ conditions and document changes accuratelyRespond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventionsSupervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)Coordinate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and families regarding resident careEnsure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standardsMaintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR)Educate residents and families about health conditions and care plansParticipate in admissions, discharges, and transfersPromote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of lifeQualificationsCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employmentGraduate of an accredited nursing programCurrent CPR/BLS certificationPrevious experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatrics preferredStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a healthcare teamPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 poundsAbility to assist residents with mobility and daily care needsMust be able to respond quickly in emergency situationsSchedule & Work EnvironmentFull-time, part-time, and PRN positions availableDay, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts may be requiredFast-paced healthcare environment focused on resident-centered careBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offRetirement planOvertime opportunitiesWork Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
