We are a busy, patient-focused podiatry practice seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Front Desk Receptionist / Medical Assistant to join our team as a floater. The ideal candidate is able to travel around Houston providing coverage at different locations when needed, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (required)

• Reliable transportation around Houston (required)

• Prior medical office experience preferred

• Strong computer skills and professional communication abilities

• Friendly, welcoming demeanor

• Highly organized, punctual, and reliable with transportation

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in/out patients professionally

• Answer phones and schedule patient appointments

• Call patients for appointment reminders

• Coordinate communications between patients, physicians, imaging centers, and surgery centers

• Verify insurance and assist with billing questions

• Collect patient payments and coordinate with billing team as needed

• Schedule patient referrals

• Obtain patient x-rays and prepare patient rooms for procedures

• Stock exam and procedure rooms with necessary supplies

• Maintain organization and assist with other office tasks as assigned

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in a medical office setting

• Familiarity with podiatry procedures and patient care
