Construction Project Management Specialist (supporting NASA, U.S. Navy)

34200 Fulton St, Wallops Island, VA 23337, USA Job Description This is a Construction Project Management Specialist role within ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, located at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, VA. The position is onsite and supports task orders for facilities similar to those at NASA Wallops Flight Facility. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate task orders issued by the Government. Coordinate contractors and on-site tradesmen, ensuring all badging, documentation, and work procedures comply with GSFC mandates and specifications (NASA WFF and Wallops Island SCSC US Navy). Communicate with system owners, building managers, occupants, and request system outages. Maintain control of the task orders, subcontracts, budget, and oversee project expenditures. Lead prebid job walks with potential bidders and work with procurement on subcontract scope of work. Participate in the weekly performance meetings with upper management. Apply experience in electrical and mechanical systems, installation and code. Apply experience and knowledge of outage & LOTO processes, electrical coordination with other trades. Review and modify drawings. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of experience in a related or applicable field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
