Senior Audit Staff

A Kforce client is hiring a Senior Audit Staff in Braintree, Massachusetts (MA). Summary: This client is a top-quality public accounting firm. They are very technologically oriented and work in a paperless environment. The client will offer a competitive salary and benefits package including fully paid medical, retirement plans, vacation days, summer Fridays off, etc. This role will work in a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities include:

• Perform accounting, auditing, and tax assignments
• Train staff on processes and perform job evaluations as needed
• Senior Audit Staff will review and prepare tax returns and financial statements
• Suggest client tax planning ideas
• Participate in planning and scheduling client engagements
• Conduct research and prepare memorandums
• Senior Audit Staff will communicate with clients
• Participate consulting and special projects as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA or on path for CPA is preferred
• 1+ years of current or recent CPA firm audit experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
