General Laborer

About the role: The Skilled General Laborer assists in communicating deliveries with incoming and outgoing drivers, entering data and tracking inventory within the warehouse. They report to and receive their day-to-day instruction from the Warehouse Supervisor. Roles/Tasks of the Position: Follow instructions from supervisors to tasks (e.g., counting inventory, communicating with drivers, checking in trucks, etc.). Report issues in a timely manner. Promote a safe and clean work environment by keeping workstations/equipment neat and organized. Work in a team environment to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. Handle and transport materials and equipment. Utilizing computer programs such as Microsoft as well as inventory programs to accurately input data. Other duties as assigned. Required Abilities: Team player. Adequate problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication. Time management. Commitment to safety rules. Willingness to learn and grow. Proficient with computer programs (ie. Microsoft 365) Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Good organizational skills and mechanical aptitude. Computer literate and competent using technological devices. Self-starter with willingness to learn, collaborate, and contribute.
