The Position: The Aquatics Manager position with British Swim School is responsible for conducting swim instruction with students, day-to-day operations of the aquatics program and customer service interactions. Priorities include ensuring the British Swim School program is delivered according to brand and safety standards, instructor team management, initial and ongoing training. This position will also require due diligence with tracking required certifications for instructors as well as continuing the employee's development and competency and skills.

Your Typical Responsibilities: Teach and lead swimming lessons as needed. Interview, hire, onboard, and manage employees to maintain a smooth execution of daily aquatics and service operations. Creation of employee schedules, and pool lesson schedules. Address and document employee, customer, and pool incidents that occur.

Minimum Qualifications: High school degree or equivalent. Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a swimming instructor and teaching/management is preferred. 1+ years of customer service and/or management experience. Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid Certifications. Must know the four swimming stokes. Looking for someone that loves kids and kids love you!

Compensation: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.

We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool.
