Work hours PRN/per diem, Days Department Highlights 36 bed PCU Department; Nurse/Patient Ratio: 1:4 depending on acuity Patient population: intermediate /telemetry level of care for the post-acute stroke, general medical, endocrine GI/renal patient population MAGNET facility Level III Trauma Center Primary Stroke center Stroke designated unit Enjoy self-scheduling to help with work/life balance. Excellent opportunities for educational and career growth including advancement opportunities in leadership Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly ACLS – within 90 days of hire CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire NIHSS – within 90 days of hire

1. year experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting required
2. years’ experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting preferred
