Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License in Tennessee Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH Must-Have: - Highly motivated - Teamwork skills - Customer service skills Description: This position involves providing quality health care in an orthopedic surgery setting. The nurse will care for geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (ages 13 and older). The role includes managing patients who are post-operative for joints, bariatric surgeries, gastrointestinal surgeries, and trauma. The nurse will work in a unit with a total of 23 beds. Patient ratios are approximately 4-6 patients per nurse. Candidates should possess good assessment skills. They must be hardworking and willing to ask questions when in doubt. Compassion and kindness are essential attributes for this role.
