Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Overview Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this travel nursing assignment, offering direct application with no recruiter involvement. Shift Weekdays: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (12‑hour day shift). Experience Requirements 24 months total nursing experience, with at least 3 months worked in the last 12 months. 24 months experience in Medical‑Surgical or Telemetry Unit, with at least 12 months worked in the last 3 years. Qualifications & Requirements Texas license or current compact license (required upon submission). COVID‑19 vaccination required upon submission; religious or medical declinations accepted. Eligible for local and travel assignments. 12‑month gap required between prior staff or per‑diem placements at CommonSpirit Health, with specific gaps for the Medical Solutions Plus Program. Floating to additional Med‑Surg units and locations may be required. Pre‑employment modules may be required; upload relevant certifications or documents to your profile. No prior employment at this facility and no employment at CommonSpirit locations within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Scheduling is by manager; block scheduling cannot be guaranteed. References At least one reference from the same unit/specialty of the job. One reference from within the last 3 years. One Charge/Lead reference from within the last 12 months. Required Credentials & Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support). Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. Resume must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and teaching facility. Proof of identification required. Unit Details Common diagnoses and patient population include CHF, diabetes, PNA, CKD, and Med/Surg telemetry. RNs must read telemetry strips, and experience with CPAP, BiPAP, and high‑flow patients is required. Floating & Scheduling Will float to all Med/Surg units. Every other weekend required. Holidays as required; facility holidays include 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, and 01/01/2027. 7 days maximum time off; one holiday allowed off. Start assignment restriction: 14 days.
