Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care rehab unit requiring GA licensure and 1+ years of experience.

Details

• Acute Care Rehab unit setting with potential outpatient exposure
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Shift hours typically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, may include a Tuesday-Saturday schedule
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active GA PT license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Acute care and rehab experience required; outpatient experience preferred
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Wine-colored scrubs required
• Weekly billing cycle
• Credentialing required by Wednesday prior to start
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates generally not considered unless an exception is granted
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO policies are strict; max 5 days off if not near a holiday, max 3 days if near a holiday, and only one holiday request allowed
• Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time
