HR/Clerk Temporary Assignment

Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented HR/Clerk for a temporary, on-site assignment in Modesto, CA. The ideal candidate will provide general clerical support including photocopying, compiling records, filing, posting information, and distributing mail. This position also involves answering telephones, routing calls, taking messages, organizing and maintaining departmental files and correspondence, and scanning documents.

Key responsibilities include:

• Photocopy, compile, file, and post information as required.
• Distribute mail and maintain organized records.
• Answer and route telephone calls or take accurate messages.
• Organize and scan documents; maintain the department's file system.
• Ensure all activities comply with quality, environmental, and safety regulations.
• Maintain satisfactory and timely attendance.
• Perform additional assigned tasks as needed.

Assignment details:

• Location: Modesto, CA (On-site specific address provided upon assignment)
• Department: Corporate Training
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• Assignment Length: 2 weeks (Temporary only)
• Start Date: August 24, 2026
• Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour (California minimum wage compliant)
• Dress Code: Business Casual
• Parking & Badge/Access: Details to be confirmed by Kelly Services upon department/building assignment

Reporting structure:

• You will report to and receive site-specific training from the assigned Kelly Services supervisor.
• The same supervisor will also handle timecard approval and invoicing.

Additional information:

• All tasks and responsibilities are subject to change per management requirements.
• On-site work is required; remote/work-from-home options are not available.
