Job Summary This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful, non-automotive manufacturer as the Plant Controller! You'll lead a small team and manage all accounting activities for the plant. Work for a global organization. Responsibilities Managing, coaching and mentoring a small team in the accounting department Leading the site budgeting and forecasting processes Overseeing the cash flow process Completing financial analysis on a regular basis Extracting data and generating reports in the ERP system Leading the month and year-end closing process Completing journal entries and reconciliation Collaborating with team members to maintain and improve accounting processes Other duties as directed by management Qualifications Strategic minded, analytical, hands-on, approachable and able to communicate at all levels. Ideally a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of 5 years of lead accounting experience, ideally in a similar Plant Controller or Accounting Manager role in manufacturing. Budgeting and forecasting. Month-end and year-end closing. Strong financial analysis. Experience working with ERP systems. Microsoft Excel.
