Job Description Job Description Must have primary skills and experience for this role (Senior Manufacturing Engineer) Industry Background: Experience in high-volume manufacturing within a Tier 1 automotive environment. Tier 1 automotive suppliers operate with tight margins and aggressive schedules, which demands manufacturing and industrial excellence. Core Competencies Manufacturing Process Development: Ability to define, design, and deliver manufacturing processes for complex assembly products — from conceptual phase through full production scale-up. Process Engineering Fundamentals: Strong command of PFD (Process Flow Diagrams), time studies, line balancing, and P-FMEA. Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Capable of analyzing product designs and providing actionable DFM recommendations. GD&T: Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and its application in manufacturing. Equipment & Vendor Management: Capable of writing technical specifications and managing vendors through full equipment commissioning. Industrial KPIs: Strong understanding of operational metrics — OEE, MTTR, MTBF, cycle time, throughput, yield, etc. Digital Manufacturing: Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and digital manufacturing principles. Scope Of Ownership End-to-end manufacturing development lifecycle: concept → process design → validation → ramp → full production Mandatory Skills: Mechanical Product development. Experience: 3-5 Years The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $121,000 . Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
