Senior ROS2 Integration Engineer Python Automation (Onsite LA)

Job Title: Integration Engineer Developer - III Location: Los Angeles, CA Type: Contract / onsite Responsibilities

• Support development, provisioning, and checkout of Python/ROS2-based systems using COTS hardware
• Develop and update device drivers to ensure optimal system performance
• Implement provisioning process improvements through automation and scripting
• Conduct software checkout and troubleshooting on testbeds and hardware
• Contribute to system reliability and performance enhancements

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python (tools/automation); strong experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot both basic hardware (wiring, power) issues and software issues
• Proficiency with scripting and automation tools
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Bash (preferred)
• Hardware/software integration experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with EtherCAT and/or motor drivers (preferred)
• Experience with ROS/ROS2, instrumentation/control systems, driver/platform debugging, data acquisition/measurement theory, or debugging auto-generated code (preferred)
