COLTENE has an opening for Traffic Coordinator at our facility in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Traffic coordinator coordinates shipment for all domestic and international customer orders efficiently and in a timely manner. This is an onsite day shift opportunity.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and produce documents for all international and domestic orders
• Maintain log of all shipments
• Schedule all incoming/outgoing freight for pickup
• Liaison between Order Entry, Shipping Department and Freight Companies
• Create documents and labels for shipping product
• Knowledge of all procedures and guidelines for shipping hazardous and non-hazardous product in and out of the Continental United States
• Ability to pull or pack finished goods
• Knowledgeable of hazardous materials guidelines and procedures and how to pack hazardous product

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3 + years traffic experience
• Able to work effectively with cross-functional departments
• Able to communicate with customers via email or phone
• Must be able to deal with stressful situations
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment
• Health or Medical Industries experience is beneficial
• FDA & GMP experience preferred

Working conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in primarily in a plant environment. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. This is a full-time hourly non-exempt position requiring at least 40 hours per week, with hours of work and days scheduled determined by the Warehouse Supervisor. Special circumstances such as off shift and weekend work might occur on rare occasions. This position requires no travel.

Physical requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily sitting for prolonged periods of time. Standing, walking or bending will occur from time to time. Prolonged periods of concentration and focus are required along with adequate interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with stress of time constraints. The employee is required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires regular and consistent attendance at the facility.
