We are hiring for a Shipping and Receiving role here in the Columbus, Ohio area! This is a long-term career opportunity and candidates should have experience already working in logistics and/or shipping and receiving.

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support daily operations in a busy distribution center. In this role, you will verify incoming shipments, compare deliveries against purchase orders, investigate discrepancies, and help ensure inventory accuracy. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Compare deliveries against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
• Identify and report shortages, overages, damaged items, or other discrepancies.
• Work with warehouse, inventory, and purchasing teams to resolve receiving issues.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory transactions.
• Assist with inventory tracking and cycle count activities as needed.
• Support efforts to improve receiving processes and inventory accuracy.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, or a related field.
• Ability to review documents and identify discrepancies.
• High school diploma or GED.

This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, OH.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
