Senior Pastor

Mount Lebanon Bapstist Church in Boston, VA is seeking a full-time Senior Pastor. The Senior Pastor mustbe a biological male. The Senior Pastor must adhere to the Bapitst Faith and Message 2000 and what it says about: The Scriptures, God (God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit), Man (biological male and female), Salvation, God's Purpose of Grace, The Church, Baptism and the Lord's Supper,The Lord's Day, The Kingdom, Last Things, Education, Stewardship, Cooperation, The Christian and the Social Order, Peace and War, Religious Liberty, and The Family. The Senior Pastor shall meet the qualifications in: 1 Timothy 3:1-7: be above reproach, the husband of one wife (not divorced), be temperate and clear headed, be prudent (foresighted, wise, discrete, good management of practical affairs), be respectable (worthy of esteem, decent, correct in character and behavior), be hospitable (generous and cordial reception of guests), able to teach, against any use of alcohol and tobacco, not pugnacious or belligerant, gentle, honorable, kind, un-contentious (not quarrelsome), free from the love of money, manage his own household well, keep his children under control, not a new convert, have a good reputation with those outside the church. 1 Timothy 4:12: in speech and conduct, show love, faith, purity, be an example to others 1 Timothy 4:13: exort and teach 1 Timothy 4:16: pay close attention to himself and the doctrine he teaches #J-18808-Ljbffr Southern Baptist Convention of Virginia
