What you’ll do: Develop and execute category strategies that align with long‑term business objectives and customer needs across multiple channels. Manage profit and loss responsibilities, including financial forecasting, budgeting, and inventory decisions to meet targets. Lead supplier negotiations, establish terms, and oversee supplier performance to ensure competitive pricing and quality. Guide and develop team members through coaching, performance management, and career growth opportunities. Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive data to inform pricing, promotions, and assortment decisions. Collaborate cross‑functionally to optimize merchandising, supply chain, and channel strategies for seamless execution. Utilize data insights and digital tools to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the category. Strong financial acumen with experience managing profit and loss, budgeting, and forecasting. Demonstrated ability in supplier management and negotiation to drive price leadership and profitability. Effective team management skills, including coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluation. Excellent communication and decision‑making capabilities to influence cross‑functional teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in merchandising, retail operations, and adapting strategies based on customer insights and data analysis.
