Upholstery Technician

This is a rare opportunity to join our team!We are seeking a part-time/full-time, first shift/second shift Upholsterer with a variety of skills and experience to assist in building and installing components in custom vehicles. Details can be found at responsibilities include:Manufacturing leather, vinyl, fabric and wood covered products.Stitching a variety of materials together using an industrial sewing machine.Operating an embroidery machine.Cutting and shaping plywood, aluminum, and other substrates.Installation of flooring, walls, ceilings, cabinets, shelves, doors, windows, and trim.Cutting, drilling, and assembling brackets, supports, and other items required to mount custom components.RequirementsCandidates should have these qualifications:Experience with upholstery, power tools, and measuring is desired, but we are willing to train the right people!Ability to efficiently run and maintain an embroidery machine (preferred)Quality, accuracy, and the ability to work within a crew in a fast-paced environment.Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or metal fabrication skills are a plus.Must be 18 years of age or older.LDV is an Equal Opportunity Employer and an Affirmative Action Employer of Protected Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities
