About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with GQR Healthcare to find a qualified Gastroenterology RN in Los Angeles, California, 90033!
**Job Title: Special Procedures • GI Lab • Registered Nurse • Days**Join our team in Los Angeles, CA, as a Special Procedures • Gastroenterology (GI) Registered Nurse. Provide specialized care in a dynamic setting. **Contract Details:**• 8•week contract, 40 hours/week• 4 x 10•hour day shifts
• Weekends and holidays required
• Possible floating between facilities **Requirements:**• Active CA RN License
• AHA BLS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card
• LA County Employee Health Clearance
• COVID vaccination and booster (if eligible)**Experience:**• 1+ year in Special Procedures nursing at a Medical Center in a metropolitan city with a diverse population.
• Gastroenterology and vascular procedures experience **Responsibilities:**• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Conduct pre•procedure assessments
• Administer medications and sedation
• Monitor patients and assist medical staff
• Provide post•procedure care and education **Additional Information:**• Overtime opportunities
• No on•call requirement
• Must work holidays
