What You ll Do

• Provide urgent care coverage in a busy general surgery setting
• Assist with pre- and post-operative patient management
• Perform assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning
• Collaborate with hospital staff and surgical team
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital privileging requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and case logs
• Support the hospital s clinical operations during scheduled shifts

What You Need
Required:

• Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• CA DEA license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of general surgery experience or recent residency completion
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of residency)

Preferred:

• ACNP credential for NPs
• Experience with hospital-based surgical care
