Cardiac Catheterization Technologist

Location: Florida

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4x10-Hour Shift (06:30 - 17:00)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist with strong cath lab experience. The ideal candidate will perform both cardiac cath and interventional radiology (IR) procedures, participating in a hybrid lab environment. The tech will be responsible for handling a high daily caseload and being part of an on-call team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cardiac catheterizations and assist in interventional radiology cases.
• Scrub, monitor, and circulate during procedures while maintaining a sterile field.
• Administer balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, and other specified procedures.
• Achieve baseline measurements and manage rhythm interpretation and pacemaker operations.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
• Be available for on-call duties, participating in the rotation of the call team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience required.
• Strong experience in interventional radiology procedures preferred.
• Current Florida state license, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons).
