As we continue growing at a fast pace, will you "Dare to Grow" with us?Pay Range: $110,000 - $115,000 Shift: Monday - Friday Day Shift (some weekends required as needed) Location: 8032 Route 183, Bernville, PA 19506Your RoleThe Solutions Design Automation Implementation Engineer is responsible for the integration, deployment, commissioning, and optimization of automated fulfilment solutions in new Distribution Centers. This role involves hands-on implementation, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and technical problem-solving to ensure automation projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client specifications.What Are You Going To Do?Lead the installation, configuration, testing, validation, and commissioning of automated fulfillment systems, including AS/RS, Goods-to-Person (GTP), AMRs, conveyors, and sortation systemsCollaborate closely with the Automation Implementation Manager, Solutions Design, and external vendors to interpret designs and ensure successful automation implementationConduct system validation and testing to ensure automation solutions meet performance criteria, safety standards, and operational requirementsProvide technical expertise during the integration of automation systems with warehouse management systems (WMS), warehouse control systems (WCS), and warehouse execution systems (WES)Participate in cross-functional project meetings, offering technical input to align automation systems with project timelines and deliverablesIdentify and troubleshoot system issues during implementation and commissioning, working with internal teams and vendors to implement corrective actionsSupport continuous improvement initiatives by recommending and implementing system optimizations to improve efficiency, throughput, and reliabilityDocument system configurations, changes, and test results to ensure compliance with project documentation standards and facilitate future system maintenance.What Are We Looking For?Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics and distribution, with at least 5 years working directly with automation systems (e.g., AS/RS, GTP, AMRs) Experience in third party logistics, omni-channel fulfilment, with focus on e-commerce fulfilment solutions Experience with WMS, WCS, WES, PLCs, and SCADA systems Proven experience in the deployment and commissioning of automated fulfillment solutionsPreferred Qualifications:In-depth knowledge of automation systems, including hardware and software integration.Strong technical problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong documentation and reporting skills.What Do We Have To Offer?With a genuine culture of recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey.
