Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients across all ages and acuities
• Manage ventilator support, airway equipment, and related interventions; respond to changes in patient condition
• Perform neonatal and pediatric respiratory care as needed, in appropriate clinical settings
• Conduct patient assessments, initiate and adjust therapies, and communicate findings to the care team
• Document treatments, responses, and ventilator parameters accurately and timely
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to plan and optimize patient care plans

Requirements

• Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA-RT) in good standing; must be an RRT (not CRT)
• Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (AAP) certifications
• Neonatal and pediatric respiratory care experience
• Ability to work in a hospital setting; comfortable with 3x12-hour day shifts and weekend rotations; no on-call requirements
• RADIUS RULE: traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the assignment site

Education and Certifications

• Education: Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program aligned with licensure requirements
• Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (AAP)
