Casa Madera has locations in Toronto and West Hollywood, each offering its own interpretation of this coastal Mexican escape.Our elevated dining concept is for an experienced Bartender who is familiar with a wide variety of craft cocktails and is capable of delivering excellent customer service. The Bartender will be responsible for keeping the drinks flowing, the guests satisfied and the business running smoothly. In order to do this the Bartending will serve patrons at the bar while fulfilling drink orders for the dining room, monitoring the cash drawer at the bar, and maintaining alcohol and beverage control and proper inventory levels.Bartender reports to Casa Madera GM, as well as all other management staff, working closely with the bar manager regarding Bar & Beverage Operations/Functions.Employee can go directly to Bar Manager regarding any issues, operational ideas & concerns however reports directly to all Casa Madera management and GM.Day to Day Responsibilities Include:Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each client and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem clients and having them removedKeep bar area clean in accordance with the company's guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health departmentMaintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tallyMix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined in the company manual to keep drink costs at a minimumDevelop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar and in the dining room satisfied at all timesAdditional Responsibilities Include:Responsibility of liquor room; Cleanliness and organizationAssisting staff in constant growth and learning by brand standardsAssisting in continuous growth of knowledge and hospitality for all bar staffTrainings for any new hiresLiaison between Bar and servers, bussers and runnersCorrespond any 86'd items to management as well as any other issuesCleanliness and organization of barMake sure that opening and closing duties are being completed and standards are always metCommunicates menu changes, specialty menus, Being aware of new bar items or cocktailsEnsure brand standards are maintainedEnsure correct product is being used as specified by Beverage Director and on menuRelay any changes on menu to management and staffProper back bar and well placement of spiritsOversee preparation of cocktails, making sure the right measurements and ingredients are being used.Cleanliness of all wells and organizationMaking sure that all items prepared properly by prepHelp push staff incentive programsBuilding rapport with guests in order to build our number of repeat customers
