Regional CDL Driver - SIGN ON BONUS

Job Description

NOW HIRING: J&L 2 Transport, Inc. is a local, family-owned trucking company who has been in the trucking industry for over 30 years, located in Elyria, Ohio. We are seeking experienced full time or part time CDL Class A Driver for over-the-road lanes. Are you retired? Want to do 1or 2 loads a week just to get out of the house? Tell us what you want to do. Open Position:

Over the Road Driver

$0.70 per mile
Dedicated lanes
Good, reliable equipment
2500-3000 miles per week (Full Time)

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
Experience in truck driving (2 Years)
Valid DOT medical card
Basic computer skills (for electronic logbook)
Follow delivery schedules & safety protocols
Strong understanding of safety protocols and transportation regulations
Ability to work flexible hours including long-haul trips when necessary
Have a team player mindset
Provide outstanding customer service

Responsibilities

Safely operate tractor-trailers across local and OTR routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records
Follow designated routes to ensure timely delivery schedules
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates or delivery issues
