Application Analyst - Epic Resolute

Salary: $79,316 - 79,316 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• At least five years supporting Epic applications, healthcare IT, or clinical information systems
• Experience with application build, configuration, implementation, maintenance, and optimization in a healthcare setting
• Experience supporting Epic Resolute, including Professional Billing (PB), Hospital Billing (HB), Claims, and Revenue Cycle workflows
• Experience conducting workflow analysis and partnering with clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders to improve performance
• Experience with integrated testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and application validation
• Experience supporting post-go-live activities, break/fix work, quarterly Epic upgrades, and ongoing operational maintenance
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
• Five to seven years of Epic application support experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
• Recent experience with Epic Resolute Professional Claims and Electronic Remittance is strongly preferred
• Experience with Reimbursement Contracts is required for the operational needs of this role
• Experience with Benefits Engine is required
• Experience with Charge Router is highly desirable
• Experience with Epic Resolute PB and HB is preferred
• Active Epic Certification or Accreditation in a relevant Epic Resolute application (Professional Billing, Hospital Billing, or Claims) is required
• ITIL Foundation Certification is preferred
• Advanced Epic Certification in a Revenue Cycle application is preferred
• Epic Certification or Accreditation in Epic Cadence, Epic Prelude, or Epic Decision Tree is preferred

• We design, build, configure, test, maintain, and optimize Epic Resolute applications supporting Professional Billing (PB), Hospital Billing (HB), Professional Claims, Electronic Remittance, Reimbursement Contracts, Benefits Engine, and related Revenue Cycle workflows
• We analyze operational, financial, clinical, and technical workflows to create effective application solutions
• We act as the liaison between Revenue Cycle operations, providers, Information Technology, application users, and vendors to resolve complex issues
• We support application build, configuration, operational support, and post-go-live stabilization activities
• We contribute to break/fix support and workflow optimization efforts
• We evaluate workflows to identify opportunities for operational improvement across Revenue Cycle operations
• We design and implement Epic Resolute solutions that support departmental and organizational needs
• We collaborate with operational and financial stakeholders to prioritize enhancements
• We recommend workflow improvements that improve efficiency, accuracy, and user satisfaction
• We support continuous optimization after Epic implementations and quarterly upgrade cycles
• We maintain and support Epic Resolute applications
• We perform configuration validation, debugging, integrated testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• We develop test scripts, timelines, and testing plans for application changes and quarterly Epic upgrades
• We coordinate testing across applications and participate in end-user validation efforts
• We ensure application changes follow established change management procedures
• We partner with infrastructure, integration, database, and technical teams to identify and resolve issues affecting Epic Resolute applications
• We support cross-functional problem solving and operational improvement initiatives
• We participate in planning, implementation, and optimization efforts for Epic Revenue Cycle applications
• We communicate technical recommendations and operational impacts to stakeholders
• We provide ongoing operational support, including break/fix work, enhancements, upgrades, and change requests
• We support quarterly Epic upgrades, new releases, application enhancements, and post-go-live stabilization
• We follow established ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management
• We participate in continuous improvement initiatives supporting Revenue Cycle workflows and application performance
• We assist with other Epic modules as operational needs require
• We provide backup coverage during peak workloads or staffing shortages
• We take part in special projects and organizational initiatives
• We perform related duties as assigned
