Licensed Practical Nurse - Per Diem

Prior OB/GYN experience is required for this on‑site, per diem position. Salary range: $24.00-$28.00/hour. The LPN triages patients by telephone or walk‑in to determine the urgency and level of care needed, assists the Practice Manager in supervising clinical support staff, and provides patient care under the guidance of CHP Physicians. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Triage patients by telephone or walk‑in; approve same‑day visits when appropriate; assist with referrals to specialists; complete PT‑1 forms; provide patient education; supervise medical assistants as needed. Assist physicians in all procedures requiring nursing‑level support; administer immunizations and allergy shots; manage prescription medication requests; process laboratory results; pull charts; review and hold partials, flagging abnormal results for provider review; contact patients with results as directed; chart all procedures performed. Run daily equipment controls; assist in charting for quality assurance (HCG, strep, sickle cell, urinalysis dipstick, etc.); ensure billing codes are correct; perform other routine office duties as requested. Spanish speaking/bilingual is a plus. Essential Skills and Qualifications Graduated from an accredited school of practical nursing. Minimum three years of experience in an ambulatory setting (preferred). Electronic Medical Records experience is required; CPR certification is a plus.
