Picture Yourself at Biltmore Farms as part of the Vanderbilt legacy of hospitalityWhy join our Front Office team?$15.50/hour starting pay, with opportunities for tipsOutstanding medical, dental, and vision benefits coverageFun wellness program with annual bonus of up to $600401K retirement plan with employer matching programOpportunities to earn e-tips directly from guests and clientsHilton brand hotel discounts for you, your family, and your friendsYMCA membership monthly discountParental leave with up to 6 weeks available for birth, adoption, and fosteringPaid time off and paid holidaysFriendly and supportive work environmentsIncredible employee learning and growth opportunitiesExciting employee events and activitiesAs a Third Shift Bellperson / Shuttle Driver, you will:Conduct the Bell service activities such as luggage service upon guest's arrival and departure, luggage storage.Open the door of the car for the guest in a professional manner at the main entrance of the hotel and assisting to unload the luggage if any.Extend warm welcome and appreciation to every guest / patron at any customer.Guide guests to their room in a professional manner, which includes addressing the guest by name, holding the lift for guest and extending hotel introduction to guest, etc.Possess extensive knowledge in relating to hotel products, events and promotion.Assist with transportation arrangements for guests.Assist in guest transportation, including driving the hotel shuttle as needed.Transport guests and hotel clients safely to their destination with the hotel shuttle, following outlined company driving procedures and requirements.Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the hotel shuttle.Keep driving log for the hotel shuttle up to date.Maintain the cleanliness of the Front Desk and the surrounding environment.Support the lobby lighting adjustments periodically.Assist with delivering Front Office or Housekeeping items to guest rooms, such as newspapers or requested linens. Extend assistance to guests, clients, and patrons alike in a flexible and hospitable manner.Demonstrate professional and welcoming image while on duty.Perform other duties being assigned by the Front Office Manager or hotel leadership.Essential Elements:We believe the essence of hospitality begins the moment you enter one of our hotels. Service exceeds expectation every day.Education & Experience:High School graduate or equivalent. Must be able to speak and understand the primary language(s) used by guests who visit the workplace. Must have valid driver's license and clear driving record. Prior experience of at least one year in the hospitality field is preferred as well as working knowledge of Biltmore Farms and the Asheville area. Physical Requirements:Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
