Want to talk about the position? Call the clinic and speak with the Practice Manager. Front Desk Receptionist Expectations Deliver exceptional customer service to every patient, visitor, and caller. Greet, register, and check in patients accurately and efficiently. Schedule and coordinate appointments to optimize provider schedules. Verify insurance eligibility and maintain accurate patient demographics. Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding patient balances. Perform prior authorizations, as needed. Answer and route incoming calls professionally and promptly. Process patient check-out, follow-up appointments, referrals, and required paperwork. Scan and maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (Athenahealth experience preferred). Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality. Communicate effectively with providers, clinical staff, billing, and patients. Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming reception area. Support practice goals by demonstrating reliability, teamwork, accountability, and flexibility. Assist Practice Manager with various administrative tasks as needed. Other duties as assigned. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent, minimum of two years of professional/ clerical experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.(Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel) Scheduling And Insurance Experience Preferred But Not Required. Must uphold the highest standards of legal, ethical, and professional conduct. Must understand and support the unique mission and vision of Veranova Health. Monday - Fridays, some evenings. Pay: Dependent on skills and/or qualifications, $19.00- $22.00 per hour to start.
