Overview
Registered Nurse – PCU in a hospital setting located in Utica, New York. The assignment starts 12/07/2026 for 13 weeks with a weekly pay range of $3,159–$3,296 and guaranteed 48 hours per week. Shift is night, 12-hour blocks (2x4 nights). Key Highlights

- Setting: Hospital Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for IMCU/PCU patients, including neuro, cardiac, trauma, COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-op cases.
- Perform focused patient assessments, monitor vital signs, respond to changes in status, and document findings in the electronic medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies, initiate IVs, and manage other standard RN responsibilities per orders.
- Support patients with chronic ventilation needs; operate and coordinate with respiratory therapy for vent management and weaning as appropriate.
- Utilize unit equipment and procedures (temp pacer, chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo) as needed and ensure patient safety during care.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and adjust care, address patient/family questions, and ensure smooth transitions of care. Requirements
- Active New York RN license; NURSYS license verification; license must be current.
- Certifications: current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- Experience: 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience; ability to float to related units as required.
- EMR experience: EPIC preferred.
- Additional: RTO (time-off) requests must be included at submission.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure (as the foundational requirement). Benefits and Support
